Ordering queries
How will I get my PowerPoint presentations?
Once you place your order, you should recieve an order confirmation. This will have links so that you can download your presentations. If you don’t recieve this email, please let me know.
When are you open?
Ordering is automated, so you can order any time – weekends, holidays, the middle of the night…
Tax
No more EU sales tax!
From 1st Jan 2018, new EU regulations mean that my EU customers will not pay tax, and can pay the same price as everyone else.
I don’t yet know if Brexit will affect tax – hopefully not…
Can I pay in dollars/another currency?
All payments are processed through PayPal, which will handle the currency conversion for you.
Over half of all orders come from countries which do not use pounds sterling (GBP).
Terms of use
Nothing complicated or written in legalese!
Note: The terms given here supersede those on the title page of the PowerPoint, if they’re different (easier to update here!)
If you buy/download these PowerPoint presentations, you agree to be bound by the following:
Who can use these images?
This presentation and the images in it may be used only by the person or group (e.g. school, local church) who bought/downloaded it.
You may not post the images from the presentations on the internet, add them to an image library (whether online or on CD etc.) or distribute or share them in any other way. This includes on Pinterest.
However, feel free to post or share any of the sample slides from the catalogue. You should not remove the copyright notice or the ‘SAMPLE’ watermark. These sample images are not to be used for teaching!
If your friends want to use the images, encourage them to buy/download their own copy. Please be honest .
How can I use the images?
You may use the images for non-commercial educational purposes (e.g. church, school, at home…)
You may not sell them or include them in any commercially available product without permission (for licensing information contact me here).
Please only use these images for teaching that is faithful to the Bible (this does not mean that you personally need to believe the Bible – just that you accurately represent what the Bible says).
Please don’t use them in contexts that undermine the Christian faith (you do not need to use them in a Christian setting, as long as you are using the pictures for positive reasons, such as to encourage understanding of others’ beliefs).
Can I alter the PowerPoint presentation?
Yes! Use it however you feel best.
All text is editable, and can be altered to use any Bible translation or language.
You may print the pictures out to use in crafts or games, or as an alternative to using the PowerPoint.
Is it OK to include the images in a livestream or video?
Some churches livestream their services and events, or make videos available online afterwards. As these services or events may include images fom Lamp Bible Pictures, I’ve made the following guidelines:
- Including the images in a livestream is completely fine (unless it’s a commercial livestream).
- Including the images in a video is fine, assuming it’s a video taken from a live event/service etc, and is part of a bigger whole, not just a standalone Bible story video.
- During the coronavirus outbreak, some churches may not have live services at all. In that case, feel free to include the images in videos of whatever service substitute you do have!
If in doubt, contact me!
