These are (approximately):

• White European
• Black African/Afrocarribean
• Asian (in the UK sense – e.g. Indian, Arab, etc.) OR South American/Latino
• Far Eastern (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, etc.)
• Aboriginal Australian

Obviously real people don’t fit neatly into these artificial categories, so mix & match whichever fits best with the children you teach!
